The City of Amsterdam requested that Copenhagenize Design Co. apply the Desire Lines Analysis Tool to ten additional intersections, under capacity pressure due to a high number of users.

We analysed the Desire Lines of bicycle users, and documented user behavior in order to understand how bicyclists interacted with the existing infrastructure. This study enabled us to identify how the City could further improve the flow, safety, and comfort of cyclists and other users at these intersections. This report is a valuable tool for the city, which immediately started working on redesigning the intersections.
