City of Groningen
In 2013 the team was hired by the City of Groningen to design a branding strategy and logo, hailing them as the Bicycle Capital of the world. Combining innovative graphic design with the city’s long history and identity of bicycling, this brand-creating campaign and logo design showed that while it may be small, Groningen is a true world leader when it comes to bicycle culture.
The focus here was on bringing "professional tourists" to the city - planners, politicians, engineers, study groups from universities, etc - as well as strengthening the region's image as a bicycle touring destination.
