Project Summary

City Changer Cargo Bike (CCCB) built on the limitless potential of cargo bikes, promoting their usage among public, private, and commercial users. Through support of the Horizon 2020 programme, CCCB brought together a team of 20 partners from Norway to Greece, the United Kingdom to Bulgaria. Learning from best practice across Europe, the initiative raised awareness and supported the uptake of cargo bikes and cargo bike initiatives.

As part of the CCCB project, we published several guides such as A Mayor’s Guide to Cargo Bikes and A Guide to Planning Cyclelogistics Hubs. They presented inspiration for encouraging cargo bikes through a range of sectors and policy tools and for encouraging cyclelogistics as a practical and sustainable solution for urban logistics. The guides were published in 10 languages.
