Cycling Strategy

Project Summary

The City of Akron has decided to engage more in matters of public space and sustainable modes of transport and so hired Copenhagenize to create a new bicycle strategy for the city. This strategy aims to lay the groundwork for a bicycle network in the center of the city, to be implemented and expanded into all local communities in Akron over time. Over the next 10 years, the city will become a safe, inclusive, and connected destination for Akronites to access by bike – bringing back vibrancy and activity to the city’s streets.
