Communication & Wayfinding

Project Summary

Following the visual identity and signage strategy project, Copenhagenize assisted Valence-Romans Mobilités in designing a communication strategy and campaign for the launch of the intercommunal cycling network Cycléo.

To begin, Copenhagenize defined the target audiences, the tools to be used, the messages to be conveyed, and the appropriate communication periods. This strategy was divided into three phases: the launch of the cycling network, the construction of the routes, and their completion. It was designed with a long-term perspective to best support the Valence-Romans Mobilités team and bicycle users.

Once the strategic part was validated, Copenhagenize produced the first communication campaign and implemented some digital tools. A dedicated website for the cycling network was created, featuring a "construction" section allowing users to follow the development of the routes. For this, we created a map and visuals of the future infrastructure. Additionally, the first communication campaign included designing posters and construction signs to deploy in public spaces where users needed them most. Copenhagenize also collaborated with its partner GreenCap Studio to create a promotional video for the Cycléo bike network, featuring aerial views captured by a drone. Finally, presentation materials and flyers were designed for the press conference.
