Project Summary

As the project contractor of the urban development Charenton-Bercy, in the immediate periphery of Paris, Grand Paris Aménagement hired Copenhagenize to support them in the complete integration of bicycle parking and quality bicycle infrastructure within their development project. In partnership with the urban planners, architects and developers, Copenhagenize followed during several months the implementation of the project and the public spaces. At the beginning of the assignment, the team organised workshops to adopt a global approach shared by the cycling mobility team. During the pre-project phase, Copenhagenize produced technical sheets and feedback related to the integration of parking within the housing, in the Mobility Hub, on public domain, but also regarding the design of a bicycle bridge and infrastructure within the structuring and hyper-structuring bicycle network.
