Project Summary

In 2023, Copenhagenize and a consortium of seven partners won a project management bid to redevelop and reclassify the RD933 roadway (formerly the RN3) and insert the TZEN3 Bus Rapid Transit line.
A management consulting role is also included. The project will fully transform this important 10km thoroughfare linking the Porte de Pantin (Paris) to the municipality of Livry-Gargan (Seine-Saint-Denis)
in north eastern Paris.

Copenhagenize’s role in the consortium is to guide the design of bicycle infrastructure and services and ensure seamless interaction between cyclists and the new bus line. The RD933 has also been designated
as an important artery of the Réseau Vélo Île-de-France (VIF), Paris’ regional bicycle network, with a cycling mobility goal of providing users a with secured, comfortable, and high-functioning cycling route. Copenhagenize is already heavily involved in the preoperational stages, completing preliminary
and design studies, and accompanying the consortium in defining the project plan.
